Management Accountant

About the role

KCR Solutions is seeking a driven Management Accountant to join its finance team in Gateshead. Working closely with the Financial Controller, the role offers exposure across the finance function and the chance to support business performance. The position is fully office‑based and ideal for a candidate studying towards an accountancy qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Support management accounts analysis, KPI reporting and other management information.
• Reconcile balance sheet and control accounts daily, weekly and monthly.
• Prepare journals and produce accounts to trial balance.
• Complete quarterly composite submissions to external stakeholders.
• Provide cash flow support and assist with forecasting activities.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, systems and controls.
• Maintain financial controls and company policies.
• Deputise for the Financial Controller and support the wider finance team as required.

Required profile

• AAT or part‑qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Previous finance experience with similar duties, preferably within the motor industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude with willingness to go the extra mile.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
