Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Management Accountant to join a well‑established organisation near Havant, Hampshire. You will work closely with operational managers and non‑finance stakeholders, providing financial insight that supports strategic decision‑making. Key responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller by preparing accurate management accounts with analysis and commentary.
• Manage month‑end processes, including journals, accruals, pre‑payments and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management to underpin business growth.
• Analyse financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver insights to stakeholders.
• Contribute to financial process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Solid experience in management accounting, including preparation of management accounts and budgets.
• Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail and integrity.
• Part‑qualified ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Effective communication skills, able to convey complex financial information to non‑finance colleagues.
• Proactive, adaptable and confident in influencing decision‑making.
