Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Management Accountant to own the finance function for a high‑end luxury door systems business based in Crawley. You will be the primary point of contact for financial information, supporting the company’s organic growth and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts, providing insight to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with external accountants for year‑end statutory accounts and tax compliance.
• Handle transactional finance work as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify and lead process‑improvement projects, including automation of invoice processing and Power BI reporting.
• Contribute commercial insight to support growth initiatives and build scalable finance processes.

Required profile

• AAT qualification (preferred) with solid hands‑on management accounting experience.
• Experience in a small or scaling business where you have owned the finance function.
• Comfortable balancing day‑to‑day transactional tasks with strategic analysis.
• Strong communication skills for presenting financial data to non‑finance audiences.
