Management Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts.
• Produce and analyse balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust financial controls.
• Prepare board‑level reporting and performance analysis.
• Partner with operational teams and senior stakeholders across the business.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Manage and develop a small finance team.
• Review accounting work and ensure accuracy across financial reporting.
• Authorise payments and oversee key financial transactions.
• Prepare and review client invoicing processes.
• Provide insight and analysis on business performance, profitability and expenditure.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including systems and process enhancements.
• Contribute to wider finance projects and strategic business initiatives.
• Deliver ad‑hoc analysis to support commercial and operational decision‑making.

Required profile

• Ambitious, commercially minded finance professional comfortable in a fast‑paced, stakeholder‑focused environment.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role.

Required skills

• Strong ERP systems experience, preferably Sage X3 or a comparable platform.
• Advanced Excel skills.

What we offer

• Salary up to £68,000 per year plus bonus.
