Management Accountant

About the role

Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join a small, professional finance team in Rochdale. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for delivering accurate monthly management accounts and supporting senior managers with financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and review detailed monthly management accounts.
• Attend finance review meetings and respond to queries from both finance and non‑finance managers.
• Produce balance sheets and address related questions.
• Generate additional reports and analysis on profit & loss, cash flow, budgets and forecasts.
• Contribute to revenue reporting and forecasting projects.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or finalist ACCA or CIMA candidate.
• Proven ability to plan and manage own workload and deadlines.
• End‑to‑end experience in monthly management account preparation.
• Track record of preparing balance sheets and handling related queries.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
