Management Accountant

About the role

The Management Accountant will support the Director of Finance and Resources and the Head of Finance in delivering accurate financial information and analysis. Working closely with senior leaders and the fundraising team, you will help ensure robust financial controls and effective reporting for the charity.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis, variance reporting and budgeting activities.
• Maintain accurate reconciliations, support audits and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting on funding streams and grant requirements.
• Collaborate with directors, managers and the fundraising team to improve financial processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in management accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive team player comfortable handling sensitive information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
