Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to become the steady, analytical force behind a thriving business in Cheadle. You will own the management accounts while partnering with the finance team to drive improvements and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance and other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and reporting tools.
• Support business partners with financial analysis and budgeting.
• Identify opportunities for automation and enhance Excel‑based solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified, part‑qualified (QBE) or experienced management accountant.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, calm approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative finance team.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
