Management Accountant

About the role

Otto James Consulting is seeking a Management Accountant to join a growing SME in Hale. Reporting directly to the senior board of directors, you will lead a finance team and drive commercial finance initiatives across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Produce comprehensive management reports and performance measurement analyses.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes.
• Support mergers and acquisitions activities.
• Establish and maintain robust financial and business control systems.
• Collaborate with Operations and Sales Directors to integrate financial insights.
• Manage and develop the finance team, fostering growth and capability.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (newly qualified or final‑year exam candidates accepted).
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to build relationships and develop processes.
• Commercially minded with an understanding of finance in both internal and external stakeholder contexts.

• Salary range £50,500 – £66,000 per annum.
