Management Accountant

About the role

This position offers a unique chance to work directly with the Finance Director in a fast‑growing, acquisition‑driven business. You will be involved in multi‑entity management accounting, statutory reporting, and the integration of newly acquired companies, gaining exposure to a broad range of finance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare multi‑entity management accounts and statutory accounts.
• Support year‑end audit and manage multiple legal entities.
• Assist with acquisition accounting and business integrations.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and manage the Fixed Asset Register.
• Prepare, post and review monthly journals, including accruals, pre‑payments and deferred income.
• Deliver month‑end processes within agreed timelines.
• Assist with VAT return preparation and support external audit activities.
• Contribute to improving financial controls and processes.

Required profile

• CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Technically strong with a commercial mindset.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
