Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an operationally driven Management Accountant to join our finance team at the Milton Keynes site. You will provide detailed reporting and analysis of site financial performance and support continuous improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse site financial performance to support decision‑making.
• Monitor and report daily and weekly KPIs.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, resolving queries promptly.
• Assist the OpEx team with cost‑reduction and manufacturing improvement projects.
• Calculate and post accruals and pre‑payments.
• Complete monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations for Finance Manager approval.
• Produce monthly forecasts, annual budgets and capital spend forecasts.
• Track capital project spend and benefits against approved proposals.
• Gather financial data for post‑investment appraisals and support R&D tax reclaim.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent).
• Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, organised and able to meet tight deadlines.
