Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team on the outskirts of Glasgow. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will provide financial insight, support strategic decisions and ensure accurate, timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and meet all reporting deadlines.
• Partner with the leadership team on annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Act as a trusted business partner to non‑finance stakeholders, clarifying budgets and performance.
• Produce the monthly management reporting pack with insightful analysis.
• Analyse financial performance, investigate variances and deliver clear commentary and recommendations.
• Support cash‑flow reporting and monitor working capital to optimise performance.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, driving efficiency and best practice.

Required profile

• Qualified with ICAS, ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Highly analytical, capable of turning data into actionable business insights.
• Proactive, organised and committed to continuous improvement.
