Management Accountant

About the role

GKR International is seeking a Group Management Accountant to support its growing care home business. Reporting to the CFO, you will work closely with senior leadership to deliver accurate management reporting, commercial analysis and process improvements across a portfolio of care homes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for the care home portfolio and produce financial reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning, providing variance analysis and commercial insight.
• Oversee resident fee billing and other revenue streams, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.
• Manage inter‑company transactions, balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve accounting variances.
• Assist with audit processes, year‑end reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Identify and implement finance process improvements and work collaboratively with operational teams.
• Support and develop the Purchase Ledger Clerk, maintaining strong financial controls.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong management accounting experience in a multi‑site, group or commercially driven environment.
• Proven ability to produce accurate financial reports and commercial analysis.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
