Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Belfast. The role sits within the Financial Control department and primarily supports our US operations while also covering other offices across the network. You will work closely with senior accountants and the wider finance team to deliver accurate monthly results and insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts for the US and other offices, including P&L and balance sheet.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and highlight unreconciled items.
• Post journals, review costs and ensure all balances are fully supported.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate movements and clear aged balances.
• Prepare variance analysis versus budget and forecast, explaining key drivers.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with high‑quality assumptions.
• Maintain strong financial control in finance and forecasting systems.
• Assist with statutory and group audit processes, preparing audit‑ready schedules.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• Member of, or working towards membership of, a recognised professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 1‑2 years of experience in professional services or a comparable environment.
