Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a leading technology and communications organisation. The role is fixed‑term (up to 9 months) and offers hybrid working with flexible hours, allowing you to collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate month‑end management accounts in line with deadlines and accounting standards.
• Prepare management information packs with detailed variance analysis and commentary.
• Work with senior stakeholders to provide insight into performance against budget and forecast.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Support forecasting, reporting enhancements and finance requirements for software implementations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial controls and processes.

Required profile

• Strong accounting knowledge, including accruals, prepayments, deferred and accrued income.
• Experience producing management accounts and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, adaptable and commercially aware.
