Management Accountant – Part Qualified (CIMA/ACCA)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join a fast‑growing, highly regulated business in Cheshire. The role offers a blend of traditional management accounting duties and the chance to lead finance‑system improvements, including a forthcoming ERP implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including reconciliations.
• Prepare journals, balance‑sheet reconciliations and support monthly management accounts.
• Analyse overhead expenditure, preparing accruals and pre‑payments as needed.
• Monitor recurring operating costs and enhance financial controls.
• Support finance process improvements and contribute to systems development.
• Assist with the upcoming ERP implementation project.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to improve financial reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified CIMA or ACCA (or actively studying).
• Experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role.
• Confidence with month‑end accounting and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
