Management Accountant – £60k-£80k, Swindon

About the role

We are an established, growing accountancy practice in Swindon seeking a fully qualified Management Accountant. You will work with a varied portfolio of SME clients, delivering high‑quality management accounts and business advisory support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Produce financial reports, KPIs and cash‑flow forecasts
• Budget and forecast for a diverse client portfolio
• Review bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Support clients with financial analysis and performance reporting
• Liaise directly with clients, providing ongoing accounting support
• Assist with year‑end accounts preparation and statutory reporting

Required profile

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice (essential)
• ACCA or ACA qualified
• Strong management accounting and client‑facing abilities
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience mentoring junior team members

Required skills

• Proficiency with cloud‑based accounting software, specifically Xero
• Proficiency with cloud‑based accounting software, specifically QuickBooks
