Management Accountant – £60k‑£65k + Bonus

About the role

Our client, an established and expanding organisation in South West London, is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team. You will work closely with senior finance leaders, delivering accurate financial information and commercial insight that drives operational performance across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports.
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare month‑end journals, including accruals, pre‑payments and deferred income.
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed‑asset register.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close, including external audit preparation.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Support budgeting, financial forecasting and cash‑flow reporting.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial analysis and performance reporting.
• Review and improve existing financial procedures and internal controls.

Required profile

• Full ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and work‑in‑progress accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Sage 200 (or comparable accounting system).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/LOOKUP functions.
