About the role

We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant with strong Excel expertise to join a fast‑paced, small team delivering financial analysis and support. This temporary full‑time position will help ensure smooth operations and informed decision‑making within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support organisational decision‑making.
• Manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for strategic planning.
• Conduct variance analysis, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Monitor cost controls and recommend areas for financial improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance.

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience in management accounting, ideally within manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Proactive problem‑solving and process‑improvement mindset.
