Management Accountant – US Focus (Belfast)

About the role

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Holywood, supporting the US and other international offices. The role sits within the Belfast Financial Control Department and contributes to month‑end, budgeting and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts for US and other offices, including P&L and balance sheet.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and highlight unreconciled items.
• Post journals, review costs and ensure balances are fully supported.
• Execute monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Produce variance analysis versus budget and forecast with clear explanations.
• Assist the management team during budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Maintain strong financial control in finance and forecasting systems.
• Support statutory and group audit processes by preparing audit‑ready schedules.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Communicate financial information to non‑finance stakeholders and manage competing priorities.

Required profile

• Member of, or working towards membership of, a recognised professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 1‑2 years of experience in professional services or a comparable accounting environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
