Management Trainee – Retail Operations (Newbury/Didcot)

About the role

We are looking for a Management Trainee to join our retail operations in Newbury (and Didcot). You will receive comprehensive training and support to develop your leadership potential and progress towards a branch manager role within two years.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by handling reservations, resolving enquiries and building rapport.
• Engage with local business partners to drive sales and marketing initiatives.
• Understand and manage financial performance, including cost control and profit‑and‑loss analysis.
• Oversee fleet operations, strategic planning and logistics to ensure efficient performance.
• Mentor, train and develop team members, with opportunities to lead and promote staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Full manual UK driving licence (accommodations available for disabilities).
• No drug or alcohol‑related offences on driving record in the past five years.
