Managing Director – Consumer Legal Tech Services

About the role

We are seeking a commercially hungry, fiercely ambitious Managing Director to lead the rapid scaling of a high‑growth, PE‑backed consumer legal tech business. This hybrid role will be based in Berkshire and will drive both B2C sales and B2B partnerships while championing digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic P&L ownership – full commercial accountability for revenue and profit growth.
• Aggressive scaling – build robust systems and processes to triple the team size within a year.
• Omnichannel commercial leadership – drive high‑volume B2C sales and forge multi‑year B2B partnerships with charities and commercial organisations.
• Digital transformation – lead a digital‑first strategy using automation, AI and advanced product development to optimise customer journeys.

Required profile

• Commercial operator with a T‑shaped general‑manager mindset; legal expertise is secondary.
• Proven track record of scaling high‑growth businesses in fast‑paced environments.
• Fiercely ambitious and potentially aspiring to a future CEO role.
• Direct, accountable and comfortable in high‑expectation, no‑politics environments.
• Customer‑centric with a focus on maintaining a 5‑star experience in sensitive consumer markets.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary of £150,000‑£180,000 per year.
