About the role
Our client, a commodity trading firm based in London, is seeking a bilingual Mandarin‑speaking accountant. The role involves supporting the finance team with month‑end processes, budgeting and performance analysis for trading activities.
Key responsibilities
- Produce budget forecasts, analyse variances and conduct monthly trading performance reviews.
- Complete month‑end reconciliations, ensuring financial data is accurate, compliant and reported on time.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and confirmations for purchases, sales, receivables, payables and cash flows in line with head‑office requirements.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with extensive accounting experience.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with IFRS and UK statutory accounting and reporting requirements.
