Manual Machinist (Turner) – Night Shift

About the role
We are seeking a Manual Machinist (Turner) to join a well‑established manufacturing business on the night shift. You will set‑up and operate manual turning and vertical boring machines to produce medium‑heavy components from customer drawings.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, adjust and operate manual turning and vertical boring machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate workpieces.
- Work the night shift (Monday‑Thursday 18:00‑06:00) and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist with turning duties.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Willingness to work night hours.
