Manufacturing Engineer (Continuous Improvements)

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer focused on Continuous Improvements to join a leading safety‑product manufacturer. Based in Sheffield and working Monday to Friday, you will play a pivotal role in introducing new processes and driving efficiency across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement process improvements to boost productivity, reduce waste and enhance quality.
• Collaborate with production and project teams to resolve issues and optimise manufacturing workflows.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
• Lead the application of Lean tools, including 5S, to maintain an organised and efficient work environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, ideally supported by relevant qualifications.
• Hands‑on experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
