Manufacturing Operations Technician

About the role

This permanent, day‑shift position is based at a manufacturing site in Samlesbury. The successful candidate will join a growing team, working 07:30‑15:45 Monday‑Thursday and 07:30‑14:30 on Fridays, with an immediate start available.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute all onsite service activities.
• Follow planned maintenance schedules to perform essential work on production machinery.
• Conduct condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, recording results in the company’s in‑house system.
• Handle waste streams and ensure safe off‑site disposal.
• Liaise with customers and support meetings.
• Adhere strictly to 5S, health and safety procedures, and company policies.

Required profile

• Experience in a mechanical, chemical or production environment.
• Adaptable, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in a similar technician role.
• PC literate with excellent communication skills.
