Manufacturing Operative

About the role

Elevation Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Operative for a well‑established manufacturing business in Leeds. The role is hands‑on, supporting a supportive team to process orders, control stock and keep the site running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately, safely and on time.
• Load and unload vehicles using a counterbalance forklift.
• Maintain accurate stock records in line with legal and quality standards.
• Control packaged finished‑goods stock efficiently.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and uphold 5S housekeeping standards.
• Follow company policies, procedures and health‑and‑safety legislation.
• Assist with wider site duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities.
• Proactive, flexible attitude with a positive outlook.
