Manufacturing Operative – Packaging Warehouse

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Manufacturing Operative to join our busy packaging operation in Hindley. The role involves supporting the production line, handling stock and preparing orders to keep the warehouse running smoothly. Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Operate a press to produce foam and corrugated cardboard components.
• Assemble and glue foam‑based products using technical drawings.
• Supply production teams with materials and packaging supplies.
• Operate warehouse equipment (training provided).
• Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
