Manufacturing Operator - Temporary

About the role

We are looking for a temporary Manufacturing Operator to join our production team at Cpl Life Sciences in Hertford. The role involves operating equipment and supporting the manufacturing of regulated products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor production equipment and automated systems according to approved procedures.
• Dismantle, clean, inspect and re‑assemble equipment and work areas to maintain cleanliness and performance.
• Carry out routine in‑process checks, product sampling and inspections to ensure quality compliance.
• Complete production documentation and batch records in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Follow health and safety procedures, reporting incidents, near‑misses or equipment issues promptly.
• Record production data to support schedules, equipment utilisation and quality performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitisation of production areas, including sinks, drains and equipment.
• Assist with manual packaging, quality investigations and equipment maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, Quality and Engineering teams to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working to production schedules and meeting deadlines.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Commitment to high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
