Marine Technician – Ship Services at Portsmouth Naval Base

About the role
We are recruiting Marine Technicians to support ship services at Portsmouth Naval Base for BAE Systems. The role is full‑time, on‑site, and initially for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
- Support ship and dockside service operations across Royal Navy vessels and facilities.
- Carry out routine inspections and technical checks on ship systems.
- Assist with maintenance and monitoring of ship services.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Report faults and operational issues as required.
Required profile
- Experience in marine, mechanical, industrial or technical environments.
- Reliability, safety‑conscious attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced team.
- Willingness to work shift patterns, including nights and weekends.
