Market Research Interviewer – Face-to-Face (Temporary)

About the role

As a Social Market Research Interviewer you will visit households within a 30‑mile radius, collect opinions on current social issues and record responses using a provided handheld device. Your work directly contributes to national studies that shape public policy on crime, health, education and more.

Key responsibilities

• Knock on doors, introduce yourself and explain the purpose of the interview.
• Use the supplied device to accurately record participants' answers.
• Travel within your assigned area (up to 30 miles, mileage reimbursed) and occasionally further.
• Schedule appointments that suit both participants and the research schedule.

Required profile

• Over 18 years old, confident and personable.
• Valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, or alternative transport in London.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Willingness to undergo DBS, identity and Right‑to‑Work checks.

Required skills

• Comfortable using a handheld data‑collection device (training provided).
• Basic navigation of a local area and ability to manage travel time.
