Market Stall Holder – Part‑time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Market Stall Holder to join our client’s team in Swindon on a part‑time basis. You will work 1‑2 days a week, primarily on Saturdays and occasional Sundays, setting up and operating a market stall that sells fresh, additive‑free products.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and transport the van, market equipment and produce to the agreed location and set up the stall according to the Business Development Manager’s plan.
• Identify potential customers, generate leads and report them to the head of department.
• Participate in marketing activities and provide feedback on further actions.
• Inspect the van before loading, clean and sanitise it as needed.
• Record sales, wastage, customer feedback and overall market performance.
• Return all equipment, clean trays, dispose of waste correctly and leave used tools for washing.
• Secure cash and receipts in the safe at the end of the shift.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly.
• Follow food‑safety and HACCP procedures, including hand‑washing, personal hygiene, allergen handling and proper labeling.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Willingness to travel up to 1.5 hours to market locations.
• Availability for 1‑2 days per week, including Saturdays and occasional Sundays.
• Previous experience in sales or customer service is desirable.
• Commitment to food‑safety standards and ability to follow HACCP guidelines.
