Marketing Apprentice – Multi‑Channel Marketer (Level 3)

About the role

The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking a motivated Marketing Apprentice to support multi‑channel campaigns and help shape the region's future. This two‑year, fully funded apprenticeship offers hands‑on experience in a supportive public‑sector environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, themes and content series.
• Support copywriting, messaging creation and basic visual design.
• Adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
• Create print media such as leaflets and flyers.
• Collaborate with external designers, video and print suppliers to produce assets that follow brand guidelines.
• Assist the marketing team in developing and maintaining marketing plans and strategies.
• Help review performance data to identify successful content and campaigns.
• Support the refinement of content based on performance insights.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, team‑oriented and committed to completing the apprenticeship.
• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (grade 4/C or above).
• Minimum 2 A‑Levels (or equivalent) with predicted grades of C or above.
• Good communication and basic IT skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Positive attitude, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
