Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Marketing Assistant to join a growing business in Horsham. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will gain hands‑on experience across digital marketing, social media, content creation, events and brand communications.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, implementation and monitoring of marketing campaigns.
• Plan, create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms.
• Produce written, photographic and video material for digital channels.
• Maintain and update website content, applying SEO best practices.
• Design and coordinate digital and printed marketing collateral.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer communications.
• Maintain customer databases and CRM information.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Confidence using social media and digital platforms.
• Interest in photography, videography and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.
• Familiarity with CapCut or other video‑editing software.
• Understanding of SEO and website content management.
• Experience with email‑marketing platforms or CRM/database systems.
