Marketing & Business Development Manager – Aerospace, International Law Firm

About the role

This position supports a high‑profile global sector group within an international law firm. You will work closely with senior partners and business leaders to drive client development, raise the firm’s profile and generate revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver marketing and business development strategies aligned with firm objectives.
• Lead integrated campaigns, client development initiatives and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Manage high‑quality pitches, proposals, credentials and tender responses.
• Oversee legal directory submissions and profile‑raising activities.
• Support thought‑leadership events, conferences and client engagement programmes.
• Use market intelligence, CRM systems and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and measure ROI.
• Collaborate with partners, fee earners and business services teams across multiple international offices.
• Co‑manage and support the development of a Marketing & Business Development Executive.

Required profile

• Significant marketing and business development experience within a law firm.
• Proven track record of delivering strategic M&BD initiatives and client development programmes.
• Experience managing pitches, proposals and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Excellent project management, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong IT proficiency, including CRM platforms such as InterAction (or similar), PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
