Marketing & Communications Executive – Events

About the role

We’re recruiting for an established international events business operating across health, personal care and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to own marketing and communications for a portfolio of UK‑based conferences and exhibitions. Working closely with the Communications Manager, you’ll deliver multi‑channel campaigns to boost brand awareness, generate leads and engage key audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver marketing campaigns across email, social media, direct mail and web.
• Create engaging content for digital channels, websites and printed materials.
• Manage and execute email marketing campaigns and report on performance.
• Design high‑quality marketing collateral using Canva or similar tools.
• Support the sales team with effective marketing materials.
• Maintain communications plans and marketing calendars for individual events.
• Assist with market research, data analysis and reporting.
• Attend events as part of the on‑site team and capture content for future campaigns.

Required profile

• At least 2 years’ experience in a marketing role, preferably within events or B2B marketing.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident managing social‑media accounts and producing engaging content, including video.
• Organised, curious and eager to develop professionally.
