Marketing Director – Retail Brand Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and commercially‑focused Marketing Director to lead the brand, design and marketing strategy for a well‑known bricks‑and‑mortar retail business based in Crewe, Cheshire. Reporting to the COO, you will shape the brand experience across every customer touchpoint and drive growth through innovative campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the overall brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all channels.
• Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail and offline media.
• Use customer insights and CRM data to drive engagement, acquisition and commercial performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
• Measure and report on brand growth, customer acquisition and marketing ROI.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Head of Marketing or Marketing Director within a bricks‑and‑mortar retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement brand strategy and customer‑focused marketing programmes.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable business results.
• Leadership experience managing high‑performing marketing teams.
