Marketing Officer – Future Students

About the role

The Marketing Officer (Future Students) will join the Arts and Humanities Future Students Marketing team at Manchester Met. Working closely with academic colleagues and professional services, you will help shape and deliver high‑quality, insight‑led marketing that supports postgraduate student recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise integrated marketing campaigns that drive recruitment, engagement and conversion for a portfolio of postgraduate subjects.
• Create and implement marketing plans and strategies aligned with university objectives and faculty priorities.
• Lead key projects and campaigns, managing timelines, stakeholders and measurable outcomes.
• Produce high‑quality content and marketing materials that reflect brand standards and audience insights.
• Drive digital activity across paid media, search, web and social channels, using performance data to improve results.
• Collaborate with academic and professional services teams as a trusted marketing partner.

Required profile

• Experience in higher‑education or similar sector marketing, preferably with a focus on postgraduate recruitment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
