Marketing Specialist

About the role

Charles River Laboratories is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join the Discovery and Safety Assessment (DSA) marketing team. Working remotely from anywhere in the UK, you will focus on digital marketing initiatives that generate and nurture inbound leads for the pharma, biotech, and related segments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and optimise digital campaigns across web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and paid advertising channels.
• Monitor performance, calculate ROI and report insights using Salesforce.com, Pardot and marketing dashboards.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to produce marketing collateral, brochures and web content.
• Support virtual and in‑person events such as webinars, trade shows and conferences.
• Analyse customer journey data to recommend improvements that increase lead conversion.
• Provide sales enablement tools and marketing support for business development and account management teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in digital marketing and lead‑generation programmes.
• Strong understanding of the pharma/biotech market is a plus.
