Marketplace Trading Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Marketplace Trading Lead to own and grow our presence on major online marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. Based in Wiltshire, you will drive product listing, pricing and commercial optimisation across multiple channels while supporting the company’s broader ecommerce expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end marketplace operations, ensuring accurate product listings and competitive pricing.
• Oversee product onboarding, catalogue management and feed optimisation for Amazon, eBay and partner platforms.
• Conduct pricing, margin and commercial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Plan and execute marketplace advertising, sponsored listings and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor performance metrics, resolve listing or order issues and produce regular analysis reports.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product and Operations teams to align marketplace strategy.
• Support ongoing marketplace expansion and mentor junior team members where needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketplace management (Amazon, eBay or similar) or ecommerce operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Ability to perform pricing, margin analysis and commercial decision‑making.
• Experience with marketplace advertising and promotional campaigns.
• Highly organised, detail‑focused and capable of solving complex problems.
• Effective collaborator across cross‑functional teams; mentoring experience is a plus.
