Master Commercial Tyre Technician – Plaistow

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Tyre Technician to join Halfords Commercial Fleet Services, the UK’s largest commercial tyre service provider. The role is mobile, based in Plaistow, and involves fitting and repairing tyres for a wide range of vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and repair tyres on cars, vans, trucks, agricultural, industrial and earth‑moving equipment – both roadside and in‑depot.
• Deliver an exceptional customer service experience on every call.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic job sheets accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Valid licence to work safely at the roadside.
• Full, current driving licence with RTRT and/or LCTT qualification (or equivalent).
• Minimum one year of experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or in a similar role.
• Ability to work with heavy machinery and equipment outdoors.

Required skills

• Tyre fitting and repair.
• Roadside service techniques.
• Operation of heavy lifting equipment.
• Use of electronic job‑sheet and paperwork systems.
