Master Data Analyst

About the role

The Commercial Master Data Analyst will ensure the accurate creation, maintenance, and governance of master data across ghd’s core business systems. Based in Leeds, the role works in a hybrid model (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) and supports the commercial team with data analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update, and verify vendor and customer master data in MSD and related platforms.
• Maintain pricing data, set up and amend pricing conditions and discount structures.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and finance to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Support audits, compliance checks, and internal controls.
• Generate and analyse reports to monitor master data accuracy and pricing effectiveness.
• Provide training and guidance on master data management processes.
• Assist Product Master Data activities, interacting with ghd’s PLM system for data alignment and cross‑system integrity.

Required profile

• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Excel, including functions, lookups, pivot tables, and data validation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform fast, precise data entry across multiple systems.
• Experience with vendor, customer, or product master data in ERP systems such as MSD, SAP or Oracle.
• Experience supporting global or multi‑market data models.
• Proactive in identifying data risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
