Matchday Turnstile Operator

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our matchday team at Selhurst Park Stadium. As a Turnstile Operator you will be the first point of contact for supporters entering the ground, ensuring a smooth and safe entry experience on match days.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous service to home and away supporters as they enter the stadium.
• Attend the pre‑match briefing to understand ticketing arrangements for each fixture.
• Keep the turnstile area clear of obstructions and report any hazards or found items to the Stand Supervisor.
• Operate ticket scanning devices and reconcile turnstile admissions using the counter and docket.
• Carry out post‑match counting procedures and follow any instructions from the Stand Supervisor.
• Uphold club policies on health & safety, safeguarding and equal opportunities.

Required profile

• Friendly, well‑presented and able to engage with a diverse crowd.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
• Willingness to follow safety and security protocols at all times.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends on match days.

Required skills

• Basic operation of ticket scanning equipment.
• Accurate counting and record‑keeping.
