Material Handler II

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler II to join our busy warehouse team in Glasgow. You will pick, pack and ship customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while working in a cold‑room and freezer environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties following SOPs and GMPs.
• Operate Counterbalance and Reach trucks safely.
• Use in‑house software and PC tools for order picking, packing and shipping.
• Maintain regulatory records and conduct in‑process quality checks.
• Participate in continuous improvement programmes such as PPI and 5S.
• Keep the warehouse clean and maintain mechanical equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in distribution, warehousing or supply chain.
• Secondary school education.
• Valid licences for Counterbalance and Reach trucks.
• Good written and spoken English.

What we offer

• £13.86 per hour (£27,027 annual equivalent)
• Full‑time 37.5 h/week, Monday‑Friday 08:00‑16:00
• Overtime available
• 6‑month contract with potential extension
