Material Handler – Ped‑Stacker (Factory)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Material Handler – Ped‑Stacker to join the Caterpillar team in Peterlee. You will work in a dynamic factory environment, handling components and supporting production while enjoying competitive pay and shift differentials.

Key responsibilities

• Move parts and materials throughout the plant using electrically powered devices and a ped‑stacker.
• Operate a crane to position loads safely.
• Assist in loading machines and perform general labour tasks.
• Use hand and power tools in accordance with standard procedures.
• Apply 5S and safety practices while performing manual lifting.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar factory or logistics role.
• FL​T licence preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

• FLT licence (preferred)
