Material Handler – Ped‑Stacker (Shift Options)

About the role

We are seeking a Material Handler – Ped‑Stacker to work on the Caterpillar site in Peterlee. The position is full‑time temporary with a range of day, afternoon and night shifts, plus generous overtime rates.

Key responsibilities

• Move material around the factory using a crane and ped‑stacker.
• Assist in loading machines and perform general labour tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Follow standard work procedures, 5S and safety protocols.
• Carry out manual lifting as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar factory or logistics environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with modern workplace practices such as 5S.
• Hold a ped‑stacker licence or equivalent.
• Strong safety awareness at all times.
