Material Planner – Supply Chain & Inventory Management

About the role
The Materials/Inventory Planner will support the Procurement and Supply Chain Division, ensuring accurate stock planning and smooth operations across purchasing, production and sales.
Key responsibilities
- Review stock levels and place product orders to meet demand.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date ERP system with purchase order statuses, delivery dates and supplier communications.
- Report shortage issues and collaborate with buyers to source alternative, cost‑effective products.
- Participate in procurement, production and marketing meetings to stay informed on product changes.
- Assist the sales team by coordinating sample products for clients.
Required profile
- Proven experience in demand or supply planning.
- Track record of maintaining and reporting on stock levels and sales performance.
- Budget management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication with suppliers.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and process orders promptly.
- Focus on minimising stock shortages and slow‑moving inventory.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
