Materials Handler – Night Shift (Plymouth)

About the role

Join a leading high‑precision manufacturing business as a Materials Handler on the night shift. You will keep the warehouse and production lines supplied, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, move and store materials using forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Pick, prepare, pack and label customer orders, production kits and spare parts.
• Process stock movements and transactions in SAP and the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Replenish lineside and Kanban stock, issue materials to the machine shop and handle returns or defective items.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and housekeeping (5S) and use Stop/Go authority when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced warehouse, logistics or materials handling environment.
• Valid forklift truck licence and confidence operating FLTs safely.
• Experience with SAP or similar stock control systems and a WMS.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety.
• Willingness to work permanent night shifts (Sunday‑Thursday, 10 pm‑6 am).
