Mathematics Teacher – KS3/KS4 & A-Level (Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving secondary academy in Oldham from September 2026. The role is full-time, teaching KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) mathematics with the possibility to deliver A-level courses in a supportive, high-performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and, where applicable, teach A-level mathematics.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote a positive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
• Demonstrated ability or clear potential to deliver high-quality mathematics instruction.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom without restrictions.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and professional references.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the UK mathematics curriculum (KS3, KS4, GCSE, A-level).
• Effective classroom management techniques.
