About the role
This position is designed for recent mathematics graduates who want to gain hands‑on teaching experience in a secondary school setting. You will support pupils individually or in small groups while developing your own instructional skills.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 or group basis
- Plan and deliver targeted maths interventions
- Provide in‑class support to teachers
- Cover lessons within the maths department as needed
Required profile
- Mathematics‑related degree (minimum 2:1)
- Strong academic background (e.g., A‑Levels)
- Experience in an academic setting such as tutoring or teaching assistant work is beneficial
- Personable, patient and passionate about supporting young learners
