Maths Progress Coach – FE Provider

About the role

We are seeking a Maths Progress Coach to join a forward‑thinking further education provider in Warrington. In this fixed‑term role you will help learners achieve success in GCSE and Functional Skills Maths through targeted interventions and high‑quality teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate learners to reach their full potential and progress to further study or employment.
• Plan and deliver engaging, targeted maths interventions for individuals and small groups.
• Support students in developing core numeracy, exam techniques and subject knowledge.
• Collaborate with curriculum, safeguarding and support teams to remove barriers to learning.
• Deliver high‑quality maths sessions and provide occasional cover teaching for GCSE and Functional Skills.

Required profile

• Degree in Maths or a related subject.
• Knowledge of GCSE and Functional Skills Maths delivery.
• Understanding of SEND and inclusive learning approaches.
• Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with learners.
• Willingness to undergo DBS check and background verification.
